Here are 4 Remodeling New Year ideas you should consider

  1. ROOM ADDITIONS – Stop trying to find space and add some new space

The space you have just isn’t enough no matter how much you move things. If this is you, then adding square footage to your home would be a good investment.  Not only will this raise  the value of your home immediately, but also add happiness to your living while in it. The more common room additions are adding flex space, adding to the master bedroom, and adding to living spaces. A larger master bedroom can mean a bigger closet, or a comfortable reading area, or maybe double sinks in the bathroom. Adding a flex space can create more privacy for larger families living together. Room additions is customizing your home to best suit your needs. We will always suit your needs here at Intense Remodel.

  1. ENERGY-EFFICIENT – Stop trying to lower the electric bill and do it, We are in Arizona with 110 degree temperatures.

Upgrading to new energy efficient windows and sliding glass doors is a great investment. It will pay back though it can take time. It could cost you $500- $1000 per window.  Add up all the windows you have in your home, you might be surprised at just how many there are. As an alternative, consider upgrading some not all. Look to see where your home gets the most sunshine. That would be a good area to start your upgrades. Changing out half the windows and sliding glass doors on one side of the house where it is getting the most heat will still increase your comfort while decrease your bill.  Energy Star is making it easy for homeowners to understand which windows to get. They have labeled each window with information on how it performs in your climate. Also here at Intense Remodel we have all the answers for you just give us a call.

  1. REMODEL 1 MAIN AREA – Stop trying to do it all at once

‘All or nothing’ mentality does not always work for remodeling.  Better to think of it as one step at a time. Look at which room would give you the most impact to your house. Ask yourself questions like: where do you do most of your living? Do you need an open concept living area? Most say yes. Do you want a space that helps you relax more often? Do your children need a play area for all their toys? Who needs the space most? What are the top 3 spaces you would like to remodel ? Once you have know which space remodeled would give you the most wanted results, you have won half the battle. Then: work towards getting it done as soon as possible by contacting Intense Remodel.
